GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Orange Frazer Press | Wilmington, Ohio
I design, format, and create beautiful books that meet and exceed our clients expectations and bring their manuscripts to life. It requires carefully reading their manuscript and understanding the client's needs, along with attention to detail with technical knowledge in printing and Adobe Creative Suite. I also manage our email marketing and design print marketing materials for clients and for Orange Frazer Press.
GRAPHICS & PREPRESS
August 2020 - April 2021
CoriGraphics, Inc | Troy, Ohio
I worked one-on-one with clients on creating custom print designs. Was the lead on the creation, design, and copy for CoriGraphics’s website using Wordpress. I was also tasked with creating and placing designs correctly for our copiers and offset presses.

AIM Media Midwest | Wilmington, Ohio
I successfully juggled creating specialty layouts (such as tabloids, magazines, brochures, broadsheets, and more), pages, and ads for multiple community newspapers publications under tight deadlines. I used various programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Power Plan, and Excel.

I created beautful and award-winning layout designs and won 2nd place from the Associated Press in 2018.
GRAPHICS & PREPRESS
August 2020 - April 2021
Civitas Media | Miamisburg, Ohio
I created layouts, pages, classifieds for various newspapers publications owned by Civitas Media. I used various programs such as Adobe InDesign, Ad Force and Excel.
Achievements

I was the only one out of 35 people that could successfully manage all 3 roles (layout, pagination, classifieds) in my pagination department.

II successfully trained people for classifieds and layout pagination and have the record of being the "go to" person for training or advice for new hires.

When our company was transitioning to new layout software, I worked to help streamline classifieds and layout pagination to allow for the job to be done more efficiently and cut the transition time down by a week.

Graduated - Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Fine art and Minor in Graphic design from Sinclair. Grade point average of 3.6.
